At the counter ("Beer for Women"), in the youth office ("Kaspar Houses Sea"), and in hyper-busy family remnants ("Conversations with Astronauts"), contradictions and certainties emerge, attempts at ideal organization, and failures with the Other and oneself, all presented in a way that only Felicia Zeller can: in her revealing style, dissecting the language of everyday life and allowing it to burn down in a fireworks display of hilarious quotes and over-the-top remnants of reality. "Beer for Women," a study on forms of communication that arise during massive beer consumption, brought her recognition in the theater. "Kaspar Houses Sea," her play about three overwhelmed youth office social workers, won the audience award at the Mülheim Theater Days in 2008. Her latest play, "Conversations with Astronauts," offers an insight into panically organized households, supported by hope.
