Performance agreements are becoming increasingly important in social work. This change affects the requirements and perspectives of professional helpers regarding their own services. The author, who is also the head of a psychosocial support facility, engages with this social science complex and provides fundamental insights into the inner workings of contract negotiations between service providers and funding bodies. In addition to a critical assessment of the current state, exemplified by the integration assistance services of SGB XII, the author also offers insights into the fields of action necessary for the preservation and deepening of care-related support services in the future. This dissertation is particularly suitable for master's students, as it prepares them for future leadership roles.
