Product details
Binjamin Segel (1866 - 1931) was a Galician author, journalist, and ethnologist, representing liberal Jewry. He served as a mediator between "Eastern Jews" and "Western Jews" and fought against anti-Semitism. In this publication, he illuminates the effects of the recently started First World War on the Jews in Galicia, focusing on the conflict between the interests of the belligerent parties. This is a reprint of the original edition from 1915.
