The sociologist and national economist Maximilian Carl Emil Weber (1864 - 1920) is considered one of the classics of sociology as well as of the entire cultural and social sciences. His theories and conceptual frameworks had a significant influence, particularly on economic sociology, the sociology of power, and the sociology of religion. The three-volume work presented here gathers Weber's most important essays on the sociology of religion.
