Product details
The sociologist and national economist Maximilian Carl Emil Weber (1864 - 1920) is considered one of the classics of sociology as well as of the entire cultural and social sciences. His theories and conceptual frameworks had a significant influence, particularly on economic sociology, the sociology of power, and the sociology of religion. The three-volume work presented here gathers Weber's most important essays on the sociology of religion. The topics of the first volume are "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism," "The Protestant Sects and the Spirit of Capitalism," and "The Economic Ethics of the World Religions." This is a reprint of the original edition from 1920.
