This comprehensive specialized dictionary serves as a tool for writing literary studies in a foreign language, as well as for reading foreign-language secondary literature, primarily aimed at a German-speaking audience. It includes terms from the latest theories as well as semi- and non-terms that belong to the specialized lexicon. Additionally, many terms from related disciplines (linguistics, theater, philosophy, etc.) have been included. The English-German section often provides concise explanations in German. The English-German part contains full API transcriptions for the keywords; the German-English section offers stress indications and some partial transcriptions for the English equivalents.
