She is the author of "Who You Were Meant To Be: A Guide to Finding or Recovering Your Life’s Purpose" and writes a monthly wellness column for Tidewater Women magazine. In the past, she has served as an associate professor of psychology at the College of William and Mary and at Old Dominion University.
