Thilo Reffert's children's book debut is a little masterpiece: fast-paced, sensitive, humorous, and without any linguistic condescension, he lets Nina and Paul tell their story and get to know each other. A loving tale about girls and boys, friendship, trust, love, and growing up. A book that brings joy and provokes thought. The illustrations by Jörg Mühle match the pace of the narrative, capturing Reffert's characters and giving them a real face. They create an excellent visual backdrop for the exciting plot.
