Product details

Pierre Klossowski (1905-2001) was born in Paris and grew up in environments influenced by Rainer Maria Rilke, Georges Bataille, Jacques Lacan, and theological institutes. He was married to Denise Marie Roberte Sinclair. Klossowski translated several key texts from Virgil to Wittgenstein, and his novels and picture series transform his own biographical experiences into the surreal and theoretical. His philosophical works explore the diverse forms of life. He passed away in Paris.

Horst Ebner, born in 1959, is an editor and publicist based in Vienna. He was the co-editor of the journal Tumult until 2016. Ivo Gurschler, born in 1979, is a publicist and a doctoral student in philosophy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Walter Seitter, born in 1941, is a philosopher in Vienna who has translated works by Michel Foucault, Pierre Klossowski, and Francis Ponge. He focuses on philosophical anthropology, physics, and aesthetics, and is currently studying Aristotelian metaphysics in the Hermes Group.
