Author: Pajtim Statovci Pajtim Statovci, born in 1990, is a Finnish-Kosovar writer. At the age of two, he moved from Kosovo to Finland with his Albanian parents. He lives in Helsinki and has studied Comparative Literature. Statovci is celebrated by international critics as a shooting star and a major European author, and his work has received numerous awards. For his novel "My Cat Yugoslavia," he was awarded the International Literature Prize from the House of World Cultures, together with his translator Stefan Moster. He is currently working as a research assistant at the University of Helsinki. Translation: Stefan Moster Stefan Moster, born in 1964 in Mainz, lives as an author and translator in Berlin. In 2001, he received the State Finnish Translator Award, and in 2023, he was honored with the Finnish Alfred Kordelin Prize. He has translated works by Petri Tamminen, Rosa Liksom, Selja Ahava, and Hannu Raittila from Finnish into German, among others.
