The Berlin Chamber Court, as part of the Nazi persecution apparatus, has been little researched so far. Since 1934, it has issued numerous judgments against political opponents and regime critics as an external branch of the People's Court. The repressive practices intensified further in 1943. Nevertheless, the at least 69 death sentences handed down by the Chamber Court against resistance fighters and forced laborers between 1943 and 1945 are almost unknown. This volume compiles all currently available biographical information about these victims of the Chamber Court's rulings. For the first time, six indictments and 19 death sentences from the Chamber Court are documented and analyzed in their original text. With the knowledge of the research findings by Johannes Tuchel, it will no longer be possible to claim that the People's Court merely sat as a guest in the Chamber Court.
