An illegal arms deal. An assassination. And a scapegoat caught in the crossfire. Burdon Lane is living the American dream. His job is to regularly deliver weapons to where they are needed - to those American problem areas where residents regularly shoot each other and where authorities conveniently turn a blind eye. The target of his latest delivery is to arm two rival street gangs in Harlem. The system is tried and true. However, what Burdon doesn't know is that the government has its hands in this deal. And what the authorities don't know is that the deal is merely a pretext for a far more sinister plan. When the deal goes south, all hell breaks loose. Suddenly, the arms dealers are shooting their own people, the cops seem to be anything but real cops, and when the smoke clears, Burdon Lane is left standing.
