Since May 2013, Helmut Barthel has presented a selection from his rich collection of over 1000 poems in a relaxed reading format at the Kulturcafé Komm du in Hamburg-Harburg, featuring works from the "Dichterstube" edition. The MA-Verlag is now documenting the first five readings with a series of five poetry booklets that cover a diverse range of topics, including the inner and outer environment, politics and social issues, the mythical and magical, language and thought, and not least, humor and satire. Those who attended may recall the impression left by the compelling presentation, but even in pure reading, Helmut Barthel's word magic unfolds in a unique way.
