In one of the most beautiful villages in southern France, a man dies under mysterious circumstances. His death is highly inconvenient for both the local police officer and the commissioner from the city. When it is revealed that the man was poisoned, the commissioner quickly concludes that the widow is to blame. However, this prompts the women of the village to take action, as they know their friend could not have done it.
