When Lara opens her eyes, everything around her is black. Is she dreaming? Is she dead? And what about the voices she hears from the darkness? She realizes that someone seems to be after her best friend Maud. But how can she warn Maud if no one can hear her? Maud is filled with terrible guilt. Why didn’t she accompany Lara home on that fateful evening when the accident happened? The doctors consider Lara to be brain dead and want to turn off the life support machines. But Maud cannot simply give up on her friend – she must fight for Lara's life! Because Maud does not believe it was an accident and wants to find out what really happened that night.
