Patrick Ludolph runs the website Neunzehn72.de, which is one of the most well-known and frequently visited photography platforms on the internet. The art of learning from mistakes. Often, you look at photos and wonder, "How did they do that?" Behind some images lies a lot of effort, while others come about more casually and with a fair amount of luck. I have made many mistakes on my photographic journey, but in photography, too, it holds true: You learn from mistakes. This book consists of two parts. First, I discuss my fundamental philosophy and my approach to photographing people. The second part is a collection of my personal favorite images. I write about each picture, how it was created, what the shooting parameters were, and, most importantly, the story behind it. It covers both light and composition.
