The production by the Crime Sound Ensemble emphasizes that his language has lost none of its power. Composer Georg Haider provides a musical counterpoint to the text, which, in its pulsating gesture, atmospherically charges the text and allows both music and text to be perceived more intensely. Haider divides his composition into 15 nocturnes that nuancedly capture the mood of post-war Vienna. The use of a zither quartet is unique.
