Nene has regained her memories and realized that she lives in a new present. In this reality, happiness seems to be everywhere, and neither spirits nor the seven legends have ever existed. In her desperation, Nene seeks out her friends Teru and Akane - the only ones who have not fallen victim to the veil of forgetfulness. From Akane, Nene learns that the Timekeepers have manipulated the past. To turn back the wheel of time and see Hanako again, she must venture into their realm once more. However, the chances of outsmarting the Timekeepers are slim.
