Product details
In the years 1895/96, Fridtjof Nansen undertakes a daring expedition to the North Pole aboard the legendary "Fram." After a few months, the provisions are running low. In an attempt to harpoon a seal, the kayak nearly capsizes, and the hunters suffer a freezing cold bath. Every evening, Nansen writes down his experiences, trembling with cold while sitting in the tent, obsessed with the thought of reaching the Pole. Thus, this equally dramatic and poignant work about the indomitable willpower of man was created.
