At the Marché d'Aligre, a vibrant market of sensory delights and multicultural encounters near the Bastille in Paris, Peter Stephan Jungk has found what he has been searching for his entire life: a place of belonging. He is plagued by homesickness when he takes a visiting professorship in Ohio for several months.
