The geographer Siegfried Genthe, who is primarily known for his travel narratives, describes in this volume the impressions of his journey as a correspondent for the Kölnische Zeitung to Morocco in the spring of 1903. He provides detailed accounts of his experiences at the Sultan's court, along the caravan route, and in the interior of the country. This is a carefully edited reprint of the original edition from 1906.
