This textbook implements the competency structure model of the LehrplanPLUS, which has been in effect since the 2017/18 school year. The content is precisely aligned with the curriculum for the 11th grade of the Fachoberschule and the Berufsoberschule, focusing on the non-technical training direction. It also includes extensions for particularly interested students and teachers for each learning area. All mandatory and elective learning areas are covered.

• Basics of combinatorics

The content is presented and illustrated through concrete examples based on introductory examples. All competencies required by the curriculum are promoted through corresponding tasks. Each subsection tests the competency through tasks that are related.
