MATHETIGER is an innovative course that supports and challenges all students, whether using the book edition or the workbook edition. The workbook edition consists of four consecutive workbooks with a total of 208 pages for grade 1 and 160 pages for grade 2 (no thematic workbooks). Compared to the book edition, the workbooks offer additional pages for practice, differentiation, and individualization (optional pages). This keeps the copying effort manageable. The individual workbooks are lightweight, reducing the weight of school bags, and provide additional motivation: children can look forward to a new MATHETIGER workbook four times a year. The workbook edition of MATHETIGER 1 is designed as consumable material. The concept promotes individual access to mathematics through hands-on and discovery-based learning.
