Prenatal psychology now has a century-long history of thought and practice. It was originally the achievement of a few who, apart from the psychological mainstream, considered the individual development story from its true beginnings. For the individual person undoubtedly emerges within the emotional traditions of parents and ancestors. Thus, this is the beginning of all psychology. The earliest bonding experiences are conceptual, followed by intrauterine, and later perinatal. They form the foundation of all later relationships and attachments in all individuals. This knowledge is effective and applicable in current crises, making it a topic of practical application in prenatal psychology. Furthermore, it is crucial for the etiology of many somatic and psychological disorders. It is therefore time to reflect on this within a compact framework.
