The world is both the limit and the possibility of philosophy. Philosophy that attempts to escape the world loses itself in enthusiasm, but if philosophy remains solely within the world, it becomes a prisoner of that world. This outlines the tension in the thinking of Hong Kong philosopher Yuk Hui, which he elaborates on in the dense conversations with Milan Stürmer, published here for the first time. In these dialogues, he explores the question of the pluralization of the concept of technology, which he considers a fundamental question of philosophy itself, reflects on the possibilities of science today, and develops an epistemology of the unknown. In doing so, he transcends all boundaries between the rational, the irrational, and the non-rational. Yuk Hui's thinking represents a departure into new worlds, and thus, in philosophy, he is always concerned with the imagination of other futures.
