Music is perhaps the most important means of expression for young people. Wishes and doubts, expectations and feelings can be heard, expressed, and understood through music. "From the disco to the church" - under this motto, the well-known pastor Roland Breitenbach from Schweinfurt has been inviting youth to church services for some time now, receiving great resonance. Each service centers around a song from a well-known group: songs by PUR, Die Toten Hosen, or Pearl Jam provide the theme and thought-provoking ideas for sharing the experiences and feelings of young people. The prayers, texts, meditations, and song suggestions from the 16 developed services can also be used as a source of ideas for preparing one's own church service.
