How do we, as Jews, Christians, and Muslims, interact with one another? How have we interacted in the past, and how can we engage with each other today - in light of this past? In the face of countless political and religious conflicts, this is one of the most pressing questions of our time. Sonja Rupp analyzes, against this backdrop, approaches within the monotheistic traditions for dealing with the other, in order to seek a common foundation. Through the theology of "Fraternité d'Abraham" in Paris, she explores the figure of Abraham in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as a way to engage with the stranger. This opens up an unexpected perspective for peaceful coexistence and a "better" world.
