In his encyclical Laudato si', Pope Francis has dedicated a letter to ecology and economy, addressing every person living on this planet. Starting from the ecological challenges and current debates surrounding sustainability, the Pope encourages an interreligious and intercultural dialogue on the topic of creation. The scientific symposium "We are only guests on Earth," which took place in 2017 in Salta, Argentina, addresses this concern. The present volume documents this conference and invites readers to engage with creation myths from various cultures that continue to shape our understanding of reality and patterns of action today. Additionally, the authors discuss pressing issues of creation justice to promote understanding among religions on fundamental questions of humanity.
