Nearly sixteen-year-old Maya receives a letter one day from her friend Domenico in Sicily. However, the news does not bode well: Domenico and his twin brother Mingo are once again in serious trouble. They are on the run back to Germany. All the feelings for Domenico that Maya has tried so hard to forget come rushing back.
