Jule and Marie - one is 8, the other almost 80. A story of an unusual friendship. When teenagers harass Marie in front of a supermarket and demand her wallet, Jule bravely intervenes and prevents worse from happening. This is how the friendship between the mismatched pair begins, as they help each other through fears and tricky situations. Marie has no objections to accepting Jule's advice at her age and finally standing up to the annoying neighbor. Jule, in turn, confides her nighttime fears to Marie. She has tried everything... She follows Marie's advice and does the most unusual thing: she invites her fear in to get to know it better. She had never thought of that before. It goes much better than just trying to "get rid of it." Who would have thought? The eight-year-old Jule, a girl with darker skin, provides a canvas for projection.
