Sebastian Kneipp (1897) was a German Catholic priest who became world-famous for his healing successes through water therapy. Although he was a priest, one searches in vain for any religious elements in his treatments. He strictly limited himself to external baths and washes. Asian healing methods, which are increasingly and powerfully spreading in Western countries, rely on more than just physical forces. Yoga and Zen Buddhism are their driving forces. While they generally present themselves as religion-neutral in advertising, they stem from roots and motivations that are antagonistic to Christianity. In the courses offered, their godless influence is increasingly felt in the training.
