For the first time, the internationally popular "Medical Taping Concept Manual" by Josya Sijmonsma is now available in German. The first edition of this book was published in 2004. Various translations have been released, including English, Spanish, and Italian. In each language, the book quickly gained popularity among all professionals working with this taping method. The clear, logical structure that effectively conveys and clarifies the taping procedure received great recognition. However, a German translation had never been released until now. In 2016, a fully revised edition of this book was published, incorporating the "State of the Art" of Medical Taping. It is completely based on the latest findings, with many additional topics, applications, and techniques. Nearly 600 photos were included, illustrating the procedure step by step, making the book very user-friendly for both beginners and advanced users of the taping method. This improved version of the book is now finally available in German. With her book, she gives a new impetus to the well-known taping method. It is an extremely useful, practical, and durable book for the daily practice of every practitioner. Since the introduction of this method, Josya Sijmonsma has been conducting international courses and lectures on the subject. Her more specialized book "Lymphtaping," published in 2010, has become a term among German lymph therapists.
