The Bavarian priest and hydrotherapist Sebastian Kneipp, born in 1821 in Oberschwaben, is known for his water cures and Kneipp medicine. In "My Water Cure," Kneipp describes the applications and specific procedures of the water cure. Water treading, contrast baths, pouring – which method helps with which type of ailments? In addition to describing the water cure, Kneipp presents medications that should not be missing from any home pharmacy. Since diseases along with their corresponding treatment methods are also listed, this work serves as a kind of health guide that should not be absent from any household since its publication in 1920.
