Product details
In the first main part, Kant focuses on the aesthetic assessment of the suitability of the forms of nature for our cognitive abilities. In the second main part, he discusses the question of to what extent we can attribute an objective purpose to the forms of nature itself. Central to this are the concepts of natural purpose and self-organizing beings. A teleological evaluation of nature cannot be dispensed with where we cannot explain the form of the object through the natural mechanism.
