Product details
The subject of the Nicomachean Ethics (circa 335-323 BC) is the active life of man as a whole composed of body and soul: justice, courage, and other virtues in all actions with the aim of achieving the highest degree of happiness. Aristotle's ethics represent the first fundamental and comprehensive analyses of the philosophy of practice. For the 4th edition, the text of the translation by Rolfes has been reviewed and essentially adopted unchanged. Included are an introduction, notes, indexes, and bibliographical references by G. Bien.
