Product details

Michael Moore is the most successful and simultaneously the most controversial documentary filmmaker of all time. Each of his films is a political statement. He provokes in America and around the world. The press characterizes Moore as a brilliant satirist and a furious propagandist. In 2003, he became the figurehead of an anti-American movement with his film "Bowling for Columbine" and his book "Stupid White Men," gaining international recognition. That same year, Michael Moore won the Oscar for Best Documentary for "Bowling for Columbine." With his work "Fahrenheit 9/11," Moore attempted to use the documentary medium for a specific political interest. His intention was to prevent the re-election of American President George W. Bush on November 2, 2004. The central theme of the film is the Iraq War, and Moore strongly criticizes American politics.
