At the wrong time and in the wrong place, a doctor suffers a serious accident, which he survives thanks to fortunate circumstances. He switches sides and becomes a patient in a wheelchair. He impressively describes the malpractice and incompetence of his colleagues, inhumane nursing care, hospital infections with multidrug-resistant germs, and medication mix-ups.
