Few other narratives from the 20th century have been realized as frequently and in such diverse media as that of Anne Frank. The story of the Jewish girl has been adapted and retold in theater and film, through photographs, in books and digital media, in graphic novels and music, as well as in exhibitions, memorials, and monuments. This volume also addresses important mediations of a narrative that has become an integral part of the transnational memory of the Nazi genocide of European Jews from a didactic perspective.
