The demographic change has reached the migrant population and presents new challenges for health services.

This volume of the PGGk series offers an introduction to theoretical and practice-oriented content relevant to the medical and nursing care of older migrants. This involves engaging with conceptual frameworks, explanatory approaches regarding the relationship between migration and health, and practice-relevant topics such as access to dementia patients with a migration background or working in intercultural care teams based on current research findings. The work provides new perspectives on the care of older individuals with a migration background and also focuses on the actions of service providers.
