Cristina is a young woman of today. She has moved from a small town to the capital city. Now, she is struggling as an assistant at a construction company that is building a home and garden center on the outskirts of Bucharest with EU funds, dealing with invoices, colleagues' jokes, and a dominant boss. At the same time, she is stuck in a long-distance relationship, her first attempt at online sex fails, and having her own apartment seems far off. Her mother works in the tourism industry in Spain - and when she does come to visit, she brings money and emotions, but only for a short time.
