The workbooks are the ideal exercise tool. The tasks in the workbook are aligned with the content of the math book and serve for additional practice and deepening of the learning material. To facilitate their use in class, weekly plans, or for homework, each page includes a reference to the corresponding page in the math book. As in the student book, all tasks in the workbook are marked according to their level of difficulty (I, II, III). The new number writing course is integrated into Workbook 1. The number writing course goes beyond learning how to write the numbers and the correct writing direction. Additional focuses include illustrating the quantity that each number represents through child-friendly representations such as pictograms, dice images, and finger counts. The consolidation of objects into quantities that each number represents is also emphasized.
