The solution booklet for the workbook "The Spelling Syllable Guide" contains the answers to the exercises of the strategic spelling training. Regarding the Spelling Syllable Guide in general: The Buschmann method and the subsequently developed FRESCH method are based on a strategy-driven support concept that can be easily implemented by both teachers and parents. Initially, rhythmic speaking is the focus. In the next step, strategies such as syllabic writing, extending, derivations, and keyword training are practiced on an individual spelling problem. The spelling exercises begin with phonetic words. Depending on the exercise unit, applications for extending and deriving are carried out. As of grade 4, less phonetic words are increasingly used, leading to a keyword training. At the end of each unit, the learned strategies are summarized.
