Tschulie
German, Silvia Pistotnig, 2017Product details
Tschulie is a school dropout, currently working (still) in a tanning salon and living with her mother and her mother's boyfriend in a public housing complex. However, she needs to move out quickly because the apartment is simply too small for three people. The solution would be to find a millionaire, but the application form for "The Bachelor" is incredibly complicated. Somehow, Tschulie struggles to get her life together. Even the chosen, wealthy high school student she met at the disco turns out to be a pimply, spoiled loser who clings to his rich mother's apron strings. Meanwhile, his uptight mother, Karin, sees in Tschulie a welcome self-fulfillment project. The teenager distracts the perfectionist single mother from her own chronic dissatisfaction. Through Karin, Tschulie ends up in an esoteric women's group in the countryside and befriends an elderly woman from a retirement home.
