A selection of 133 common and important remedies from the second tier is presented in the second volume of the minimal materia medica. The selection was derived from three sources: a survey of lecturers conducted by the DZVhÄ in the summer of 2008, as well as sales statistics from two major homeopathy manufacturers. To counteract the widespread practice of copying in homeopathy, I sought colleagues who have their own experiences with the respective remedies; a total of 21 authors contributed. The selection is cross-methodological, meaning representatives from different schools and traditions are included. However, the Boenninghausen method is preferred, as all remedies from the Therapeutic Pocketbook have been included, regardless of statistics. Like the first volume, this one is suitable for learning, browsing, and differential diagnosis.
