Author Information
Richard H. Thaler is the Ralph and Dorothy Keller Distinguished Service Professor of Behavioral Science and Economics, as well as the Director of the Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2017.

Book Description
From the renowned and entertaining behavioral economist and co-author of the groundbreaking work "Nudge," "Misbehaving" offers a irreverent and insightful look at human weaknesses. Traditional economics assumes that rational forces dictate everything. Behavioral economics knows better. Richard Thaler has spent his career examining the idea that humans are at the center of the economy and that we are fallible individuals, not Spock-like automatons. Today, behavioral economics has a tremendous influence and is changing the way we think not only about money but also about ourselves.
