In addition to the five parts of the Ordinary, there are three additional movements - Introitus, Alleluia, and a Communion song. The Missa Jazzica is suitable for both mass or worship services, and it is also appropriate for a church concert. Particularly when the choir director is not a jazz musician, the written piano score greatly facilitates rehearsals and can also be used for performances. Ideally, the work is performed with a freely improvising jazz ensemble that adheres to the harmony and melody.
