The new qualification concept "Talking with Children" (U3) focuses on improving the quality of interactions. The aim is to support educational professionals working with toddlers in acquiring language promotion strategies, such as questioning and modeling strategies as well as feedback strategies, and applying them in key situations, such as during picture book readings or routine situations, in their educational everyday life. The central focus is to challenge children to speak and think, thereby encouraging long-lasting conversations. The acquisition of the strategies is stimulated through a practical component, which consists of nine modules with a variety of building blocks. The modules and building blocks of the qualification concept are primarily designed for training and further education qualifications.
