Collaboration with parents in daycare centers is often experienced as very challenging. Veronika Verbeek demonstrates the pathways that open up when educational professionals view the cooperation between daycare and family through a systemic-constructivist lens and competently engage with the diverse forms of family and upbringing. Systemic-constructivist ideas and attitudes, as well as foundational knowledge on diversity competence concerning milieu, gender, and inclusion, are illustrated through numerous case studies. Selected methods for daycare-parent cooperation can assist in practical implementation.
