Book of Life

I have just found the book in which life writes its lines. It is bound with passion and blood from the paper of eternity. Filled with wonderful stories full of love, happiness, and hope, as well as unspeakably sad poems in which even the strongest breaks. Read to me of love and tears, of what passes and what remains. Even though we long for freedom, we are still what life writes.

This collection of poems describes thoughts and feelings from various moments. Under the three headings "A Love Story," "I Search for Words..." and "Moments," this book contains thematically diverse, heartfelt poems from the youth of the author Johanna Hartwig. The first chapter tells the story of a love, from the first dream, through the greatest happiness, to bitter failure and finally forgetting, conveyed in verses that touch the soul.
