The school must be a place that learners experience as successful. Therefore, the task of learning coaches is to make individual success the measure of all things. However, success is tied to achievements, to many small victories over oneself. Learning is understood as a constructive engagement with resistance. This means that learners should develop joy in dealing with challenges. In other words: brood more, cluck less. The concept of learning-relevant factors (LRF) offers many approaches on how the school can contribute to the success of learners.
