Product details

CNC milling and 3D printing are two important tools for creating scale details and accessories in model making today. Whether it's formers, carbon parts, support elements for electronic components, or detailed attachments for scale models: the new compact desktop systems offer a wide range of applications, combined with lower acquisition costs than just a few years ago. Additionally, the user-friendliness of the associated software has been significantly simplified. In the second part of the book series "The Idea Workshop," Daniel Klüh explains the basic knowledge for a successful entry into CNC machining and 3D printing. He not only discusses the functionality and handling of milling machines and 3D printers but also provides step-by-step instructions on how to create your own 2D/3D templates. Furthermore, he shares important practical tips to avoid mistakes and problems during the respective work steps. The perfect introduction to the fascinating world of CNC milling and 3D printing.

Daniel Klüh, born in 1979, is a long-time author for the model flying magazines MFI and ROTOR. He has been involved in model flying for over ten years, but he has been engaged in model making in general for about 30 years. His entry into model flying began with an electric UHU from Graupner - since then, he has built numerous small and large flying models. In addition to traditional model making, he is also interested in CNC milling and 3D printing.
